Restoration
Restoration is the work that has to happen before paint is worth buying: rotted trim, failed soffit, split fascia, open joints, and earlier repairs that were caulked rather than fixed. Paint over any of those looks right for one season and then fails exactly where the real fix should have been.
If a contractor quotes a repaint without walking the trim, you are buying a color, not a job.
Rot
Fascia rots because water came off the roof edge where it should not have. We look for the reason as well as the damage, and we tell you if the fix is upstream of the board we are replacing.
When the cause is the roof or the gutters, that work stays with us too, so the fix and the finish sit in one scope.

Surface preparation and the paint line are confirmed for your house in the written scope, so you know what is going on the walls before we start.
We do not publish a lifespan figure for paint until it is our own measured number. Paint life depends on preparation, exposure and the product.

Warranty
EV Roofing & Construction warrants its own workmanship on structural repair carried out during exterior work, though not on the paint itself, for 5 years from substantial completion, with materials under the manufacturer’s own warranty and with owner supplied items, normal wear and damage from deferred maintenance excluded.
